HISP Teaching School Hub Administration Assistant
Location: Tanners Brook Primary School
Are you an experienced Administrator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our dynamic team at HISP Teaching School Hub.
As an integral part of the Teaching School Hub, you will provide high-quality administrative and customer support to ensure the smooth running of all activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation, helping shape the educational landscape by supporting teachers and educators through our hub’s initiatives.
HISP Teaching School Hub (TSH) is part of the network of 87 centres of excellence across the country for teacher training and development, set up in September 2021. Accredited by the Department for Education, HISP TSH delivers and supports initial teacher training (ITT), delivers the Early Career Framework (ECF), provides an Appropriate Body (AB) service and delivers the full suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to schools across and beyond our regions, including Hampshire Isle of Wight, Southampton, and Portsmouth. HISP TSH’s core function is to support schools, and multi-academy trusts to invest in their workforce: growing, recruiting, developing and retaining the very best teachers, support staff and leaders. We achieve this through delivering high-quality teacher development programmes which raise teaching standards and contribute significantly to school improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Administration: Provide front-line support by responding to general enquiries via phone and email, ensuring a responsive, reliable service for stakeholders within and beyond our hub regions.
- Data Management: Efficiently maintain databases, input data, and ensure accurate record-keeping for all Teaching School Hub activities.
- Event Support: Assist with organising and supporting conferences and training sessions, including room set-up, registration, and packing down.
- Social Media & Content Creation: Act as the main administrator for our social media channels, creating engaging content to promote events and drive engagement.
- Promotional Materials & Communication: Design promotional materials for events and handle sensitive information in compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the Admin Team, supporting colleagues during peak times.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong Administrative Experience: You have a background in administrative work and customer service, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Whether written or verbal, you communicate confidently and clearly, building positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Organisational Expertise: You thrive in busy, fast-paced environments and can prioritise tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and that processes run smoothly.
- Tech Savvy: You are experienced in managing databases, CRM systems, and social media platforms, with a flair for creating engaging online content.
- Flexibility & Resilience: You are adaptable, with a positive approach to change and the ability to handle multiple tasks with resilience.
If you’re ready to make a difference in the world of education and think you have the skills and experience that we’re looking for, we would love to hear from you!
